Bad management and corporate pressure concentration solely on profit
They do not value hard work, they abuse good employees, they violate many state BOLI and EEOC guidelines, they allow harassment between staff and more then that, they expect you to work despite pervasive harassment and duress. Turn over is unsurprising considering the management,
Treat employees as if they are disposable, commonly having to work through breaks, practice manager cares more for profit than patient care
There are thousands of VCA clinics - each one very different in terms of staffing, management, operations, etc., and multiple reasons why each one may have a high turnover rate. The veterinary field in general is stressful - turnover rate tends to be high regardless of the company.
Understanding means over working the current staff. VCA also pays lower than any other hospital and does not truly care for employee health and wellness. Profit is key- but not for staff
Management is unethical and does not care about retention of employees. Hostile and negative work environment. The opposite of team oriented.
