However, in the past couple of years, Veritiv has accelerated this initiative by creating a culture where employees always feel heard and where the company act on the feedback. We have a great tool where employees have the ability to provide feedback and recognize each other!

Great Culture and Remote Work

A lot is changing, which is really difficult to keep up with. Otherwise, the tasks and expectations just take really good time management skills. Terrible, would not recommend! I would give them zero stars if I could.

Cool job, needs higher pay for long hours drivers work. Would suggest it to someone else doe. Decent trucks n trailers. Supervisors could be trained more

EXCELLENT company to work for the hard-working professional!

I was hired last year with the expectation of working just another warehouse job. Admittedly I have been pleasantly surprised and blessed with experiencing Veritiv's "People First" culture. I feel like the Senior Leadership Team and leadership at Veritiv truly value every employee no matter their role. The increased benefits last year, the organized celebrations like "warehouse worker appreciation week", the competitive pay, benefits, and advancement opportunities are just some of the reasons why Veritiv Employees like myself are so grateful to come to work everyday.

Company headed in the right direction

The company is headed in the right direction with CEO taking the lead. They company has put more effort into the employees as far as benefits, vacation and recognition. There are small opportunities for improvement but I would say a great company to work for.

I always know where I am in regards to my development at Veritiv. Compensation is great and management is very easy going and supportive. I thoroughly enjoy my job and company.

Few employees nice clean warehouse with health insurance as well as other benefits available

There are only few employees each makes me feel more important, weekends of great first shift hours, veritiv goes off of seniority an offers overtime.

Very fun and fast paced

Very great place to work. Good routes and great management. They like employees that work hard and especially employees that get good feedback from customers. If you show you can work and have good work ethics they will go out their way for you.Only downside is the pay. They could pay better to keep work more attractive.

Decent place to work

Not a high turnover job, really stable work wise. One of the more chill warehouses you can find and the pay is pretty good compared to other warehouses.

This place is kool if you don’t really want a career

If you’d want a job that doesn’t pay good but expects above and beyond efforts, this is the place for you! It’s a lot of blowing smoke going on here if you know what I mean.

Good solid company with positive outlook

Worked there for a considerable time (+10 years) . A little overmanaged, but getting better. Compensation package is appropriate for the work involved.

Great place to work

It's a great place to work. I was a temp worker in one of their wharehouses the pay was 12 dollars an hour last time I was there. Overall they treat you good, very flexible and understanding.

No management pressure to build business. Accounts are simply reassigned without notice. No support for expenses.

If you are looking for a low key job without management pressure and don’t mind spending your own funds to go out and build the company business, then this is the place for you.

Pros

Low key atmosphere.

Cons

No reimbursement for expenses. Compensation restructured on a yearly basis.

Very good work life balance.

Usually the longer you are at a job the worst it gets but here the longer you are the better it gets. This is not a dream job by any means and sure they could pay more. One thing that stands out is the work life balance. You get a pretty good amount of vacation on day one also all the benefits on day one. Pretty decent hours and If you have to be done early on a certain day they will make sure to route you to get you home at or before that time. NO holidays or weekends. Good bonuses.

Work life balance, helpful people.

Pay could just be just a little more.

Extremely toxic working environment

Work, work, work. Prepare to be stressed for 9 hours of day and constantly getting guilt-tripping by your supervisor. When you work here, your personal life doesn’t matter. You are expected to breathe, eat and drink Veritiv 24/7 and… despite overworking their staff in the shipping/receiving department, you will constantly be forced to do even MORE work than you can actually manage.Manager refuses to hire more people despite desperate, tired and overwhelmed personal.There’s no team-work mentality. Back-stabbers everywhere. It felt like middle-school all over again: having to constantly watch your back because there’s always someone there waiting for you to mess up so they can go and complain about you with your supervisor. You can’t even look at your phone to check the weather, they’ll instantly think you are wasting time on social media.I gave my best working here, yet apparently it was never enough for any of my supervisors. You are expected to be a robot, not a human. Forced overtime. If your manager wants you to work on a Saturday, that will be forced as well. If you ever attempt to leave on time, they’ll use that against you on your end-of-year evaluation. 10 min breaks? Yeah, that’s not gonna happen either.Impossible to grow in this company, or at least in this type of environment.
