Business Account Manager in Ashburn, VA
on May 17, 2022
The company used to be focused heavily on growth and seemed to do right by their employees. From commission changes that only hurt top performers and rewarded lazier workers, to horrible choice of uniforms and forcing new sales systems onto business and retail teams that do not work. The company seems to invest in anything but convenience for their workers and systems that work. Advancement in the company can be rough unless you really brown-nose higher-ups. I've seen some of the most incompetent people put into leadership positions due to close relations with executives in the area. This culture can be very bad for your mental health if you seek advancement based on your performance and past experience without really shmoozing a higher-up.Benefits are good with discounts on service for yourself as well as friends and family. Other corporate discounts on all sorts of stuff and comprehensive medical coverage that doesn't break the bank. Decent 401k match (6%) that vests after 3 years with the company and a yearly stock grant for all employees. (Benefits are certainly the highlight of working here.)

As long as you have qualifications you can apply to any position, on any state. Full benefits available. FMLA is available with. Verizon has a site with discounts to all kinds of vacation spot and car rentals.
General Manager in Orange County, CA

District managers have unrealistic sales expectation. The work place culture is dependent on your manager, if you get a supportive manager, you will do well. If you get someone who just dictates the district managers message the workplace culture suffers.
Retail Store Manager in California

Super corporate structure. High quotas and low payouts after 2009.Met great people and had fun doing the job. Company worried more about college degrees than work experience. Lots of good people left.
Solutions Specialist in Lone Tree, CO
on August 8, 2022
My career there was only a year. They changed the commission structure to take twice as much work for half the pay. Management in Orlando was so focused on barely meeting their sales quota they allowed shady sales and looked the other way when fraud was brought to their attention.
