Service ExcellenceThe work environment is great. Sales incentives are second to none. Clean and professional. The culture is toxic. If you work in a sales environment you are expected to lie, cheat and steal. Promotional opportunities were good back in the day but now friends are hiring friends like crazy so if you want to be promoted make lots of friends. You basically do the work of 5 people and you wonder daily if you will be fired because of the corners you were forced to cut just to make things happen. You have a workload that is humanly not possible and no work life balance
If you are looking for a corporate grind with good potential, you have found the right employer. They do take care of their employees, and any of their non commissioned jobs people tend to enjoy. The stress of commission and them changing the bar is what tends to drive people out of sales.
100% okay working with the service provider
Where do I start? Reverse racism, little chance for advancement, very political and Verizon is allowed to move you 35 miles away at any point so there’s usually a long commute. Forced overtime and management and occupational workers usually are st each other’s throats. Little to no relevant training, they just throw you to the wolves. Metrics are all that matter. Stress is extremely high. Good pay ($40+ per hour) is the only thing that keeps people there. Inside jobs are like being in jail and outside techs have GPS on their vans. Good luck if you decide to work there, you’re gonna need it!
The job itself is rewarding. Management will bully you to do your job faster but when you speed up and make mistakes or skip safety procedures to make that happen they will hang you out to dry. The union is worthless if your'e a term employee they take your money and dont even apologize when your let go! Money is great save it while you are there.
Good company to work for and do business with, but be careful what you volunteer for when working for them. Volunteer work is matched 1:1 awesome... I just retIred ... keeping 1/2 discounts nothing else since they're a 401k company
Professional but fun, striving to make it an excellent experience for everyone.
Good, No problem
