Management lacks policies and procedures for a professional environment

Not having policies and procedures in place in a mortgage department creates a stressful environment when trying to underwrite unique scenarios where we might keep the loan in house, but the lack of information and management decisions were inconsistent and lacked organization.

Work was vary fast-paced but also fulfilling with a lot of innovation and product development. People were compensated very well with many opportunities for advancement.

Good entry level job but not strong support for growth.

As a teller at Vermont Federal Credit Union the work is interesting initially but not overly challenging or dynamic. The most enjoyable part of the job is making a difference in member's lives and the hardest part of the job is the repetitive nature and lack of advancement within the company.

VTFCU has made a drastic change in culture in the last year. They have hired several unneeded positions and have done away or terminated other long term positions.
