Customer Service Representative | Job Description
As a Versatrim Customer Service Representative you are the voice of our company! You are responsible for handling all calls pertaining to product knowledge, service questions, order processing and resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Every interaction with our customer should be friendly, professional and knowledgable. Building a good rapport with our customers is something we strive to do with every call. The successful candidates for this role will have strong command of the company’s customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers. If you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multitask, are able to work Monday through Friday within the hours of 9am to 6pm and are 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED, we want you to work with us! Packager | Job Description
As a Versatrim Packager you are responsible for correctly packing and fulfilling orders as they arrive. Your duties consist of picking products from designated locations, gathering all material as needed for orders such as tape, wrap, shipping tubes, paper and staples and preparing tubes and boxes for shipment using staple guns and tape dispensers. You will also use a computer to pull orders from our Access system and communicate with office staff via Instant Messenger. You will be expected to work safely at all times and follow all safety policies and procedures along with keeping a clean and presentable work area. If you can manage to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance, are able to stand, walk and climb for at least 8 hours, have a general knowledge of math, counting and written communication skills and are eager to learn we want you to work with us! Wrap Line Operator | Job Description
As a Production Wrap Line Operator you are responsible for overseeing the wrapping process and ensuring your machines stay running. Your duties consist of setting up production machinery, operating machines to meet or exceed quality standards and ensuring the machines stay running smoothly and efficiently. You will also be responsible for ensuring enough raw material is stationed and ready to be loaded into the machine and responsible for carrying out routine maintenance of your machine in order to keep a clean and presentable work area. You will occasionally use a forklift to transport materials and will be expected to work safely at all times and report any arising problems to your Team Lead. If you can manage to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance, have a general knowledge of mathematical and mechanical problem solving skills and have the ability to act quickly when problems arise, we want you to work with us! Moulder Operator | Job Video
As a Moulder Operator you are responsible for running the moulder and producing Woodstock. Your duties consist of setting up and operating the moulder to plane, shape and groove wood stock. You are responsible for reading the work ticket given and examining the pattern shape to determine setup procedures. Other responsibilities include selecting and installing cutting heads and other parts on the machine, inspecting your work for quality and communicating any issues to your Team Lead or Floor Manager. In this position, you must be able to stand and walk for at least 8 hours. You must have good mathematical skills and a knowledge of units of weight, volume and distance measurement. You must also have the ability use various hand tools such as wrenches or gauges and the ability to walk, stand, bend or climb for extended hours and lift 10 pounds without assistance. Color Coordinator | Job Description
As a Versatrim Color Coordinator or Print Operator you are responsible for the custom creation and replication of images to coordinate with our customer’s varied flooring planks. You will use Photoshop to manipulate and replicate a scanned design and proficiently operate and maintain a large industrial printer. You will also use a Mac computer to store and locate digital files as well as perform regular housekeeping such as organizing, cleaning, and maintaining said digital files and other physical files. You will also operate and use an industry standard Lightbox to obverse changes in images and make the necessary adjustments. You will occasionally be required to dispose of hazardous waste and lift up to 25 lbs. You will occasionally climb ladders and use sharp objects. Production Mechanic | Job Video
As a Versatrim Production Machinery Mechanic you will be responsible for maintaining our production machines to ensure they stay running smoothly with no problems. When needed, you will analyze test results, machine error messages and other information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems. You will occasionally clean and adjust parts, equipment and machinery. You will also occasionally disassemble machinery and equipment to make repairs and are expected to work safely at all times. You will perform routine maintenance on all machines and operate any newly repaired machines to verify the adequacy of the repairs. Part of the accuracy of your repairs will come from blueprints and manuals from the manufacturer that you will be expected to understand. You will also occasionally cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts and assemble new equipment and demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators. If you have at least 5 years experience in a production/manufacturing environment, the ability to understand electrical schematics, metal fabrication experience, construction knowledge and are a motivated individual, we want you to work with us!
