At Vesta Property Management Corporation, nepotism is a flagrant problem that disrupts the satisfaction, and professional growth at the corporate level. Although a recent nepotism study on NCAA teams showed that teams that have nepotism (two or more family members as players or coaching on the same team) perform better and win more games than those without, multifamily affordable housing is a "horse of a different color!" A couple of the variables witnessed were new-hires that lacked affordable housing qualifications and self-awareness, and transparency in the hiring process i.e. you may be chosen for simply being "one of the Chosen." Ultimately, a diverse inclusive work force, with equality, is in the best interests of all and the organization's success!

Train your managers to listen to their employees instead of walking all over them. It isn't good business practice to show favoritism and harass then fire an employee for reporting inappropriate and unprofessional behavior.
