4 stars
Veterinarian (Current Employee) - New Jersey - June 6, 2022
What is the best part of working at the company? Per diem pay What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Clients that go over their 7 minute time frame because at the last minute they remember they want “heartworm pills “

Part-time Veterinarian (Current Employee) - Atlanta, GA - October 2, 2022
Lower socio-economic demographics means interesting repetitive discussions with clients about cost of animal ownership and routine services necessary for a healthy pet. I wouldn't be able to do this full-time. Part-time already can be challenging at times. Hiring staff that WANT to work, show up on time, do the job they are hired to do is a problem. Many are physically there but not mentally. For many of the staff, this is just a temporary steppingstone to something else so there isn't much dedication.

Mobile Veterinarian (Former Employee) - Hickory, NC - January 28, 2020
Assistants are no longer properly trained, the priority is no longer on the patients and there is no concern for the doctors and how they are treated by Petco employees.
Pros
Untrained assistants
Cons
High pay
