I totally think it depends on where you work. Each hospital is different from the next. Many have teams that have been working years before as a private practice before being bought by the corporation. They allow the Doctors to practice how they see fit. They tweak what works for that individual practice. What works for one may not work for another. If that hospital has great Doctors, management, & staff that respect each other and work well together you shouldn't have a issue.
The culture is different at each hospital. That is established by the local teams so you will see a fluctuation between practices.

Awful. The vets are only after the money and it is all about pushing products. The training is a joke and you will be constantly over worked for little compensation. A private practice will pay at least 2-3 dollars more an hour for what a vector practice will give you. They will also make sure you work just under full time so they don't have to give you any benefits. It's a joke, you will be better off anywhere else.
Hostile and unprofessional
