I had been working there quit some time and people that started after me were making more than I was. They never want to give you a raise, and the people I worked with were very rude. Minus a few people, it was not a job to make a career of
Kennel Assistant (Former Employee) – Grenada, MS 38902 – December 22, 2017
You learn to work with and around others. You do almost nothing by yourself. It is team effort to get things done. Co-workers are family oriented and friendly. Everyone has a good attitude if you show a good attitude. This is what helps keep the work environment positive and friendly, especially around animals and the time management that WILL give you a hard time. When there are hardly animals at the kennels, it can be a painfully, slow, work day, so you have to find someway to keep busy.
All food presented at break room is shared, you get to be around cute animals and give them attention when you have the time
Time management in handling the animals is limited, Sometimes there are easy days that makes it hard to find things to do
Vet Assistant (Former Employee) – Ohio – August 19, 2017
Management is horrible. They hire your for a job but only to give you a different job on the day you start. Receptionist is a condescending, lazy, backstabbing, and will not get along with you. Employees are not treated fairly (once again, management). They do not treat customers with respect they deserve. Small animal vets do not know what their doing. Many cases seen where a problem could have been taken care of but they simply do not care. Many animals that not spayed/neutered have been burnt. The vet techs that acutally are vet techs are snobby and rude.
Leaving when the day is done.
Receptionist is rude, management sucks, bad small animal vets
Receptionist (Current Employee) – Tulsa, OK – August 3, 2017
It's a great place to work, the Veterinarian's are good people & the staff is all around good people.
A typical work day can be hectic, but I've learned how to handle them. My overall opinon of the place is that they are amazing people who really care about their clients. That is hard to find at a lot of places.
It's an amazing place to work. The care that is given by both the doctors and their technicians are top notch. They are new-be friendly, which means that you don't have to be the most experienced to start there. They are patient in getting their employees up to the highest standard of professionalism and medical care of patients.
Fast paced caring clinic with responsible values and considerations.
