Great health care idea if management is ethical. I loved the patient care and the ability to care for patients over time. We were able to provide adaptive equipment that is typically not allowed with Medicare. It is an advantage to be able to see your patient in their home and treat in a clinic environment. This is more efficient patient care.
Better patient care
Dependent upon good ethical decisions of management
Day Center Director (Current Employee) – Wichita, KS – September 26, 2017
Worst choice I made in my life was to take this position, the upper management does not care anything about lower management nor the entry level employees. Word is that in 5 years some have only got about .10->45 cent raises.
Nurse (Former Employee) – Wichita, KS – June 26, 2017
Management does not support employees. They don't know how processes are for the lower people. It takes a long time for change to occur. They are big on communication, yet their communication is one of the worse I've seen. Every department for themselves, and will throw you under the bus if you let them.
Very wonderful place to work. They are there for the people they care for. Their mission is to help those that need it. They want to help the elderly stay in the community where they are and offer their services to ensure that happens.
The days could be long but there was always an opportunity to learn and grow as a CNA. The supervisors were great people to work with and supported all learning styles. Overall a great place to work and gain experience to move forward.
