Fun but stressful
Retail Associate (Current Employee) - Sterling, VA - April 19, 2017
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI have worked with victorias secret fthat 5 years and for the first few years never had a problem until new management took over. I got demoted, pay was taken away, and i was given a new position. Pay is good everyone starts at $10 an hour. Sometime we work over night 9pm to 6am which is horrible. Sonetimes were given free stuff put lately the company is being cheap. We also get team bonus, if we meet last years goal and exceed we get an extra 1-3 dollars for every hour depending on sales. Discount for employees is 30% on all product except sale
Pros
Free stuff, discount, good pay
Cons
Bad management, no benefits, no vacation time, overnight shifts

Overworked and under appreciated
Sales Specialist (Former Employee) - Houston, TX - November 28, 2023
Worked there far too long, pay was great until it wasn't and work environment typically enjoyable but the company as a whole terrible. Cut pay after lockdown by half and expected us to continue working 10-12 hour shifts. Would not recommend.

Productive but Stressful
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Honolulu, HI - November 22, 2023
It was just like any other retail job. Management was stressful at times. Pay was alright definitely not for the long term. Co-workers we’re the best part of the job.

Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Cincinnati, OH - November 15, 2023
There were days when I was expected to act as security when people would steal. The pay was not that great and the supervisors were rude. We did get free items every once in a while.

Good for building people/sales skills
Seasonal Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Paramus, NJ - November 15, 2023
Very stressful, and low pay but great place to build real life skills. I worked here while in college and while the hours were long and demands are high, you will learn a lot working here.

Cool place to work
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - November 8, 2023
Pay should be more for all the things that you do. Good discounts and they’re flexible. The calls can take a toll and be too much. There aren’t many breaks in between calls

Easy job
Bra Fitting Specialist (Former Employee) - Buckhead, GA - November 6, 2023
Enjoyed my time here. The job was fairly easy and my managers were amazing. Closing and correcting the panty bar was the hardest part. Hours are best during holiday season.

Cool and loved it there
Sales Associate (Current Employee) - Birmingham, AL - November 4, 2023
Working there is very unique. You definitely have a really good discount and depending on the location really good staff. The only downside is management and hours are terrible.

Great Benefits
Clerical (Current Employee) - Reynoldsburg, OH - November 2, 2023
Great benefits for reasonable cost. I have had many supervisors. Overall they help you succeed and help you work towards other opportunities. Best advice is attendance is very important.

Good Company
Supervisor/Manager (Current Employee) - Reynoldsburg, OH - October 29, 2023
This is a good company to work for if you want to make a career with them. The work/life balance is good and the benefits package is very good. There are issues that need dealt with but no more than any other employer. Has good growth potential if that’s what you are working towards.

Easy work, terrible management
Sells Associate (Current Employee) - Houston, TX - October 28, 2023
Management lacks proper communication, work is easy, few hours unless it is holiday season. Ask for raises! They try to low-ball and pay new employees more than ones that have been there for years

Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Massapequa, NY - October 26, 2023
It was a fun place to work and get a good discount ( they used to give free stuff idk if they still do) of course worse around the holidays but it’s typical retail

Fun place to work
Brand Operations Manager (Former Employee) - Sherman, TX - October 26, 2023
Fun place to work, love the discount, and my store felt just like I was spending my work hours with friends. And wearing leggings to work is always nice

Fun and friendly place to work
Retail Sales Associate (Current Employee) - Township of Liberty, OH - October 23, 2023
Morning/day shifts are slow during the week, managment is friendly but not always communicative about responsibilities, employees get a great discount regardless if part or full time, hours are very unpredictable unless your in management.
Pros
Forty percent discount
Cons
Unpredictable hours

Long hours, bad pay and toxic environment
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Trafford Centre, Greater Manchester - October 22, 2023
Avoid avoid avoid The hours are brutal and you are paid so terribly. The staff are so so strict. Booking off holiday is a gauntlet of stress. They got so aggy when I asked for 2 days off for my GRADUATION.

High pressure with little support
Store Manager (Former Employee) - Denver, CO - October 10, 2023
High pressure to meet goals with little to no support, including payroll. Was expected to run a store with 2 associates most of the time. Pay was good once you were in management, otherwise minimum wage. No work/life balance.

Ambiente lavorativo competitivo
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Orio al Serio, Lombardia - October 10, 2023
Ambiente lavorativo stressante e volutamente competitivo. Poca meritocrazia, poca trasparenza. In compenso stipendio puntuale e adeguato. Buona scontistica dipendenti.

They don’t care about you, experience or pay
PINK Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Newark, DE - October 8, 2023
You could be working there for a year, know all the ropes, know how to open and close, how to handle aggressive customers and they will hire new people who can’t do the job and pay them more but won’t raise the pay for other employees who have worked there for years. All locations suck and they just want credit cards and money. If you need a summer job this is fine but don’t get stuck here like some of the sad pathetic managers who have stayed there for 10 yrs+
Pros
Lots of encouragement to get credit cards in bribery like ice cream and free stuff
Cons
Short breaks, managers all suck
