Days at VON were always dependent on what my customers needed. Customers were employees of VON located across Canada in the finance, operations, management capacity. Most enjoyed satisfying customers by fulfilling their needs an making their work more efficient through the use of LEAN methodology and maximization of software to improve productivity. Management was supportive and welcomed out of the box thinking to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Hardest part was the lack of funding to best utilize systems and keep up with upgrades, etc.. I learned a great deal about the health care industry, in particular, the community health care industry.
