Assistant Manager (Former Employee) – Staten Island, NY – July 15, 2018
Victory is one of the few banks that pride themselves on customer service and i love that they dont push product down the customer throat management is great and so is the culture. The only thing that theyre missing is you qre poorly compensated for a manager the starting salary is in the 30's and thats way below average.
Assistant Head Teller (Former Employee) – Staten Island, NY – October 20, 2018
I left this company in just six months. They pay far less than other banks. Poor management. No coaching. You are written up for everything. You do not have a home branch and will be transferred from branch to branch. They will give you two weeks of PTO and you must take it all together at once. Technology is way behind other banks. Everything is done manually so there is a ton of paperwork. Constant shady transactions going on with thousands of dollars a day being handed to “business” customers. If you have other banking experience I suggest you pass up on this bank.
Working with business owners to develop bank accounts
Vice President Development (Former Employee) – Staten Island, NY – December 1, 2015
A typical day would consist of making phone calls to prospective customers or follow up on customer satisfaction for those customers recently developed for the bank. By noon, I would go out to visit new prospects for the rest of the day.
Much visibility in the community and little supervision
Most of the income was developed through commissions.
