The pace of work is pretty fast. Some days are very busy, some days were slow. It depends on the particular floor you work on. In the ED you can expect to be very busy, in ICU it's dependent upon the patient census. The other floors are based on the patient load you are given in report and patients going out and being admitted. The floors are the most predictable, and it's like clockwork.
