I cry pretty much once a week
There is no support system in place here, and I have been treated like a disposable pawn pretty much the entire time I have been employed. I have worked here for eight months, nearly, and it is soul crushing: for me, the students are not even the problem, for the most part. The issue is the staff and the way the facility is run. It’s tan by the kids
This place is literally ran by the kids. Everyone is so worried about upsetting these kids that it’s ridiculous. Some of these workers actually seem to enjoy restraining the kids which is terrifying. Honestly I’m just trying to stay so that these kids have at least one good influence during their stay here…

Management is a Mess
As a BHT, the best thing about working @ VBH are the patients. The worst thing is that there is really no communication, and very lax support when you call for help due to issues in your cabin. They cannot keep good employees bc they mistreat them.
