Village care lacks communication between “team”. Patients complain daily that they can’t seem to ever see a practitioner or social worker when they need to. Social workers don’t answer their phones after several attempts. Nurse managers (most of them) (there are 2 great ones) are lazy and don’t come to the floor to help for the most part, patient care is NOT a priority for upper management and the big people with higher pay. We are understaffed most of the time and are explicated to work fast and safely with no help. This place needs some serious changes. There is NO teamwork, low medical staff, and the social workers ... I don’t even see them.
