Good place to work. People are competent. Job demands are difficult. It is a faith based institution. It is important that you embrace the spiritual culture at Villanova.

Horrible Work Environment
Assistant Strength and Conditioning (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAOctober 4, 2018
I would not recommend anyone to work here. They treat there employees like garbage and there athletic director mark jackson neglected the athletes in 2017 by not putting new turf in which caused many injuries.

Be Careful
Custodian Worker (Former Employee) –  Radnor, PASeptember 26, 2018
Third shift is woefully short staffed, the better you do your job the more they put on you, while giving the many slackers less work. This is the only job where you get punished for showing up! Aramark supervisors are killing the department, low morale and bad work environment. Not a healthy work place
Pros
Paid time off
Cons
Short staffed, poor management

Student Assistant at the Mathematics Office (Former Employee) –  Villanova, PAMay 16, 2018
Villanova is a great place to work as a student employee. The management is very understanding of the business of a student and is always willing to work with you. I love my job at the math office; everyone there really cares about the students.

Not bad overall, but rushed and confused at times
Research Assistant (Former Employee) –  Villanova, PAApril 13, 2017
The actual work experience was fine. There was sometimes an unfortunate lack of communication over which professor's job it was to teach the basics to the students, so occasionally the buck got passed to infinity.

Prep Cook/Line Cook (Former Employee) –  Villanova, PAOctober 7, 2016
This job was extremely fun and engaging. The management was very organized and friendly. Everyday we were given tasks to complete. The job was set in a dining hall. Food was to be prepared quickly, efficiently, and up to health standards. Cleanliness was a must and everyone pitched in to divide the workload.

Advancement Communications (Current Employee) –  Villanova, PAApril 23, 2015
in my opinion the communications department hires too many friends and family members of VPs. It is too top heavy, it outsources too much work and has lost too many people who walked off the job, left, went to other departments, due to stress or other reason,
Pros
The university offers good benefits
Cons
stressful & pay could be better

Writing Tutor (Former Employee) –  Villanova, PAApril 14, 2015
This is a fantastic place to work. Co-workers are extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is very laid-back while still being very serious about the task at hand, specifically, writing education. Help is always available from management for any problem you might have with students or with your own scheduling.

Balance of Opportunity and Challenges
Campus Ministry Intern (Former Employee) –  Villanova, PAJanuary 27, 2015
Every day is new and exciting for a Campus Ministry Intern. One wears many hats in this role and it is a great deal of fun especially if you enjoy mentoring college students. Time management is the key to being successful in this role. Because there are many hats worn, it can be a challenge to manage one's personal time and the many projects for both campus ministry and one's classes.

Professional and hardworking environment
Assistant (Former Employee) –  Villanova, PAAugust 8, 2013
While working as a facilities assistant, the typical work day consisted of setting up for whichever event was coming up. This job taught me how to work hard and also gave me the ability to work in more of a team atmosphere. Management was strict when it came to completing tasks but was very easy to work for. My co-workers worked hard and helped in meeting certain work deadlines. The hardest part of my job was when we were given a work assignment last minute and had little time to complete the task. The most enjoyable part of my job was getting to be around great athletes and work in a team atmosphere.

Staff (Former Employee) –  VillanovaMay 9, 2013
Villanova seems a very nice place to work for however there are some backstabbers who doesn't do their job but driven by jealousy and immaturity they feel the need to talk badly about others and complain to higher management about stupid things I rather not to mention here. Be aware, this place might be based in catholic principles but doesn't mean all the people who work there are nice people. There are some individuals who feel they are above everybody else and that their needy request have to be heard no matter how stupid they seem (non-job related) so you cannot act like a human.
Oh, and seems they like to make anonymous complain and stalk you and report every move you make.
Pros
Nice campus
Cons
HR doesn't care about everybody's wellbeing just about relevant indiduals.
