Work & Life Balance

Work Leader in Chantilly, VA
on July 22, 2018
Work and family balance needs to be improved
In NoVA cost of living is high and DMV needs to take a critical look at compensation package in this area. Since 2008 salary adjustments have been few and restricted to 2% and unfortunately not annually
Manager in Richmond, VA
on March 5, 2021
DMV promotes that it actively supports diversity but that is not true. Especially for management. The pay is extremely poor and non competitive. Executive management only prioritizes themselves and similar level colleagues. Most are at years of retirement and need to move on in order to foster a better culture and tone at the top.
Program Support Technician in Altavista, VA
on February 19, 2021
Great experience to learn everything about Dmv but the management is horrible. They dont want to help nobody and the division manager is even worse. Dont go there
Administrative Customer Service in Chesapeake, VA
on November 28, 2020
You can do little work and never get fired. You can do a lot of work and never be compensated. So that's the good and the bad. No one cares either way in management.
Program Technician in Richmond, VA
on November 6, 2020
Paid way less than you are worth within the organization. The work loads are incredibly heavy. There is a lack of training and you get different answers to questions based on who youre talking too. The only bright side is the time off.
