Every department is against one another but Dr. And nurses usually get their way. Other dept associates get dismissed and are replaceable to them. Low low low pay for too much work. Great place as a quick place to work so you gain experience for something far better.
It was a contract job, with a shady company Quadrant - it was streamlined and horrible decision on my part to take the job.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Virginia Hospital Center?
If you like getting treated like dirt go for it. Dont listen to HR they never get anything right.
In addition to minuscule annual raises of 1-3%, only one employee per department can get an exceptional rating per year. Managers keep that one rating for themselves.
