Registered Nurse in Hanover, PA

This company stands far above the rest of the healthcare agencies I've worked for. They value the work they are doing in their community, while also very much valuing their employees. From fair pay, to increasing mileage payouts with higher gas prices, and to giving retention bonuses in recognition of the extra work their employees are picking up when staffing is low, I have been very impressed with this company.
Hospice Nurse in Hanover, PA
on April 2, 2022
Hospice nursing is the epitome of the nursing realm. I have experienced other hospice corporations - all having their own benefits and strengths. However, the VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove is a family oriented environment with no corporate atmosphere. Supportive and flexible in scheduling and work. I love being a part of the VNA family. Transparent, supportive and encouraging! However, you need to know your own boundaries and what is a good work life balance for yourself and be firm wherever you go for a position in nursing. Otherwise your life will revolve around work and your family will suffer - this is anywhere you go.

It is refreshing to work at the VNA. The company takes time to show their employees that they care through small but generous gestures. It means a lot to receive appreciation and acknowledgement . The staff at the VNA are some of the most genuinely caring and compassionate individuals and it is a pleasure and honor to be a part of this great team!

VNA goes above and beyond for their employees, always willing to help their employees. You feel appreciated working here. It's a wonderful place to work.
RN Case Manager Hospice in Hanover, PA

I loved my patients and their families. The job was meaningful and felt very fulfilling. Work/life balance was not good at all. Management didn't always have your back.
