A fast growing company with a great Management team to provide support for growth. A job that I loved going to everyday. Always something new happening.

Production Lead (Former Employee) –  Elk Grove Village, ILMay 24, 2018
A Bunch of people who wants to be bosses and management who are clueless. They have no backbones and don't provide enough training for the employees there.

Pros

Fast growing, unregulated industry
Free product (if you want it)

Cons

Nepotism is alive and well here at Vital Proteins. You can expect to see individuals with zero health and wellness experience , eclipse your efforts and advancements simply because they are a current girlfriend, ex-girlfriend, wife or family member.
Upper management will make bold claims about this product and its benefits. and expect you to propel the myth that this is a special or unique product, when in fact it is mass produced and far from what it claims to be.
You will work hard, very hard and be expected to bring great ideas to the table, just to have the credit go to someone else. The bonus (yeah right) will not only be masterfully re-imagined right when it's supposed to be paid out, it will be dramatically less than it should be.
Management values (worships better yet) the dollar to the extent that they will pretend to be concerned about the health and wellbeing of the animals, the rainforests and the oceans they supposedly source from when in fact they know little about the true origins of their products. You will be expected to say crazy things about how happy the cows are!
There are zero boundaries at this company. You may think you know your job and what it entails, but it will be recreated, disrupted and redefined on any given day, leaving you confused and questioning what you are doing and why.

Advice to Management

Authenticity and ethics would be a good start. Try incorporating these into your company.
Stop pretending you're interested in creating a product
more... that is pure and truly ethically sourced. Just stick with your overused IG images of yoga poses, smoothie bowls and stupid quotes catering to the trixies you sell to.  less

Flexible / Good Pay / Help People
Brand Advocate (Current Employee) –  Elk Grove Village, IL 60007April 19, 2018
This job is so flexible, the pay is great, and I enjoy helping people discover a product that can improve their lives. It takes genuine interest in supplements, nutrition, healthy living and helping people to hit the sales quota regularly but is a great part time work pick up for the right person.

Flexible schedule, an amazing company with amazing products, requires staying organized and dedication to meeting deadlines, what you put into the company if what you will get out of it!
