My manager was one of the best managers ive ever worked under. I worked as a technician installing smart homes and alarms. That being said the door to door sales reps were some of the worst I've ever seen. I had worked for a door to door company for 4 years before deciding to try something new and I can't see any reason to lie to a potential customer. These reps are so desperate for a sale they'll literally say yes to anything, and then blame the technician when something doesn't go their way or when the customer finds out they had been lied to. not only that but they don't pay you what you signed up for. I had to threaten to sue before I got reimbursed for what they tried to keep. If you enjoy not making money and sacrificing your morals to help shady salesmen make money then this is the job for you. Otherwise reconsider, maybe get into college. I thought this job would be a good way to pay my tuition but I'd have better chances working at a fast food chain as my pay was dependent on the sales reps ability to sell.

The management needs to be more lenient and accept the fact that sometimes there are circumstances and situations that arise that employees cannot control. For example, put someone on a special charity project temporarily or other task such as decorating or making copies if they are losing their voice or have an overactive bladder instead of holding them to such high productivity standards. Be slightly more accommodating!

Confused, no schedule received from the recruiter. No introduction or orientation from the DM. No one guides through onboarding and they talk down to you until they find out you're the wrong person to do that to, then they single you out using a good cop/bad cop approach and fire you for expressing discontent over their poor treatment.

According to the email I received (and calendar invite) for Customer Solutions Tech Support (Work From Home) position it said: There is a 3 week training M-F from (PST 8:00 am-3:30 pm) (EST 11:00 am-6:30 pm) (MST 9:00 am- 4:30pm). 100% attendance is required.

I'm not sure if that schedule ever changes - but I know they do blocks of weeks several times a year (perhaps) of the training sessions for new employees. I've not yet been "hired" but I have a phone interview in 2 days. And I hear from my friend who also worked this job that the interview is less like a true interview - and more like "do you accept these training days and hours and agree to attend 100% of the training?" But I'll find out more when I have my phone interview.

Don't need to dress too fancy if you're a guy. For women I recommend "Sunday best".

It depends on the department you have interviewed for. I've had both immediate acceptance and a week long of a wait.

Vivint does not generally drug test upon hire. You'll only get tested if management suspects you of doing drugs. Even if you're tested and come back as positive, they'll keep you on with a mini rehab program.
