Why did you leave your job at Vivint?

My manager was one of the best managers ive ever worked under. I worked as a technician installing smart homes and alarms. That being said the door to door sales reps were some of the worst I've ever seen. I had worked for a door to door company for 4 years before deciding to try something new and I can't see any reason to lie to a potential customer. These reps are so desperate for a sale they'll literally say yes to anything, and then blame the technician when something doesn't go their way or when the customer finds out they had been lied to. not only that but they don't pay you what you signed up for. I had to threaten to sue before I got reimbursed for what they tried to keep. If you enjoy not making money and sacrificing your morals to help shady salesmen make money then this is the job for you. Otherwise reconsider, maybe get into college. I thought this job would be a good way to pay my tuition but I'd have better chances working at a fast food chain as my pay was dependent on the sales reps ability to sell.

Worst, careless, disorganized, corrupt recruiting, onboarding, no orientation just selling the recruits on high earning potential. Managers are not well qualified E LA office is run by people who are petty and the first recource to any question you have is " you could get fired". Very hostile to smart, independent people. They want yes men. If you're not a yes man you will be ousted fast, they feel threathened very easily.
The script they use is very deceptive making it sound as though they are with the power company to anyone hearing it for the first time. Don't refer family and friends, they will tell urge you to do it.

Honestly, management and HR. I loved my job. Management seemed to single me out. HR was terrible at accommodating my disability.

Management was pure garbage. Most people knew the right person or were related to someone in the company. Many managers were severely unqualified. Pay changed 5 times in 8 months. I eventually left because I was injured and they let me go after 6 years of service due to my injury.

As a job seeker it is imperative to know who you are. The unlucky won't have encouragement at home and further many rely on a ever faulty, reluctant education system. I have had several jobs over the years and one common thread is now becoming visible, first impressions are snippets of what is to come. You job seekers must learn to see the subliminal messages in interviews, LinkedIn...and yes although no one is perfect, know yourself, what you will deal with and what you won't. You only get one life, so make it count!

Political issues with management. They do not like to hear the truth about the product or management style. If you are a yes person you will do great, if you have an independent thought you won't last.
