Teaching Assistant (Former Employee) – Queens, NY – July 30, 2017
There was no typical day of work! I learned how to appropriately support groups of children safely. The hardest part of the job was that classroom assistants were expected to step up and fill in whenever needed often times without a chance to prepare. This was especially nerve wracking when expected to substitute for a teacher without warning. Our supervisors were very supportive of our growth in the classroom, however, and the school allowed for a lot of room for advancement.
