Internship (Former Employee) –  Hopkinsville, KYMay 26, 2017
I was responsible for working with clients in an internship for my undergraduate work in social work. The day consisted of working with clients to help them learn to live substance free. Counseling, both individual and small groups was important daily.
Volta is no longer a state run facility. It is now privately run.
Pros
learned a lot
Cons
Turned private owned and no chance of employment

Chef de Cuisine (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CASeptember 30, 2016
Really enjoyed being part of the opening experience, I was able to work with some very talented and passionate people. It truly was a shame we needed to close so abruptly.

Never had the parts we needed during trims, hired too many people during our slow periods of work, and just unorganized and mismanaged
