Professional Sales Representative (Current Employee) –  Scranton, PAFebruary 22, 2018
I LOVED tis job when I started I was so enthusiastic and believed anything was possible. As time goes one they kill your soul.

High Stress
Low moral
Drama
Someone is always out to get you even when on your team
Lots of emails filled with micro-management
Have to clean the warehouse on WAB sale days
Expected to work in poor weather conditions
favoritism is real
Pros
freedom
Cons
micro-management

Wolves who eat their young!
Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Southern New JerseyFebruary 17, 2018
You are told to drink the "kool aide" or else! You are lead to believe that you will be taken care of if you do what you are told. Then you find out that certain sales reps who are held in high esteem with management are "gifted" all of the best accounts, with the highest margins! Meanwhile, you work your butt off trying to appease customers while the ownership keeps stealing from you by raising "internal costs". And then you find out that the manufacturer never really raised the costs at all. The ownership STEALS from its sales reps!
Pros
Great healthcare; albeit very expensive
Cons
So much to list, there is not enough space.

Run don’t walk!
Client Services Representative (Former Employee) –  Cranston, RIDecember 28, 2017
You are set up for failure!! Two weeks one on one training but third week tour alone...no support!! Computer system is ancient and when customers call for missing items etc you just say well maybe tomorrow. If you like to be rude to customers and have half assed training go for it! You are also replacing recently laid off employees who have been there 10+ years so there is no moral!
Pros
Employee Discount
Cons
Benefits, mandatory 401k, training, coworkers aren’t very accommodating as they are hiring for laid off replacements.

Job Culture
stressful, chaotic, no structure, terrible
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  CTDecember 14, 2017
The pay is fair if you play the game right. I can't say that it's good pay because they work you into the ground. The benefits are good and that is all they have going for them. Other than that the place is a disaster with absolutely no real structure. It's a hope for the best and cross your fingers type of place. Empty promises to both employees and customers. Low tier management has good intention but no actual ability to make any positive changes. This is a company wide issue and it will never change. If you don't have a family, if you don't care about having a life outside of your moldy office and if you enjoy endless, frustrating chaos that never resolves then this is the gig for you, otherwise save yourself the headache. They don't care about you and they never will.

They treat you like a meat grinder
Route Driver (Former Employee) –  Plattsburgh, NYOctober 26, 2017
I worked as a Route Driver, too many hours, not enough help and expected you to work like a dog. They treat you like you are a meat grinder. The only good thing was the health insurance which you never had time to use because they expected you to work on demand.
Pros
health insurance
Cons
poor management, excessive hours, don't care about family time

Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PASeptember 19, 2017
I would recommend working at WB Mason to anyone in the sales field. It is a relatively soft sale but the followup work can become more time consuming than the actual sale.

Unprofessional
Client Relations Specialist (Former Employee) –  East Windsor, CTSeptember 18, 2017
Management is very unprofessional. If you have an issue don't expect them to help you. Instead they ignore the problem and try to use it against you. Its a very stressful work environment and isn't worth the time or money. Its a strain on work/personal life.

Puppeteer (Current Employee) –  Brockton, MASeptember 12, 2017
Disorganized chaos at its finest. Management is out of touch with day to day work flow. Unrealistic promises are made to customers regardless of whether or not they are feasible.

Typical thought process for an issues at hand is: SHOOT, AIM, THINK.

Great Company with room for advancement and incentives
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Egg Harbor Township, NJAugust 18, 2017
Even on my bad days i always looked forward to waking up and going to work. The job training was thorough and they pick the best trainer that fits with your learning style. They always had competitions with incentives and there was room for advancement. The manager is incredible and he really takes the time to teach. He is a pure example of a leader rather than a boss.
Pros
Monday through Friday, healthcare benefits, Pto, hour lunch break, Ot
Cons
seldom closed due to inclement weather
