They put the dogs first, staff a close second. I've worked in the pet industry for 7 years and have had multiple employers/owners that loved dogs but didn't give a care about their people. Wag has made it clear to me that as a manager the happiness and safety of my team is a huge priority. If people are happy to come to work then they enjoy the dogs - more... more and the clients can tell. It's part of the growth business model.
