I don't tell people that I work here. People in the community have a low opinion about this company and for good reason. I generally just tell people that I work in healthcare and that I'd rather not talk about it.

I would always compliment my employees for good work done. I would be very involved with my employees on the work floor. I would not stay in my office and use a pushy attitude with my employees because I am a rule enforcer. If the work is not going along smoothly, I would change things to make conditions work for EVERYONE, not just the "favorite"employee that has seniority. All would be fair. Also everyone would dress and groom themselves for the professional, high standard of quality service and care that we at Baptist would VOW TO PROTECT AS A NUMBER ONE OBLIGATION TO OUR PATIENTS AND FAMILIES. Some of the Environmental Services and the CNA's employees look as if the just crawled out from under a rock. Their hair is a mess, uniform dirty and wrinkled and way too small, and they walk like they have been working nonstop for 20 hours because they are SO TIRED. not from work, because they are lazy. I would be VERY sure when I hired someone that they looked the part to represent one of the greatest companies in the WORLD. all everyone concentrates on is the equal opportunity issue. Don't we at Baptist have ANY STANDARDS AT ALL? PLEASE FIX THIS. Not for ME, for our people that rely on us for superior, quality care. Thank you.
