I have been employed for fifteen years and my performance reviews are always good however as a pharmacist we are being told for th e third year in a row that we are over paid and the company has agreed that we will not be getting a single penny in raises regardless of performance. With that being said, translate a 3% minimum cost of living increase it would translate into us working with pay cuts rather then raises. Do not join this company it’s awful

How long are the shifts 8 hours or 8.5 hours? Are the lunch breaks paid or unpaid?
Each locations break policy has to abide by the local/State laws. If you're not getting a break or someone is not paying you for any amount of time you are working for any business or company of any size it's your responsibility to know the labor laws in your area. In Tennessee you will be allowed an unpaid 30 min break if you are scheduled for 6 hours work and 2 paid 15 minute breaks with an 8 hour shift after 4 hours you have earned a 15 min paid break as well. However if you're not working over 3hrs and 59 min you will not be able to get a break at all. You are responsible if you are knowingly working without pay or not taking breaks. If afraid to approach the leader on duty you always have the ethics line or HR to make a report. Trust the system, it will be investigated and you will be repaid for any reported time that is justly confirmed unpaid work off the clock/time card. You can search your labor laws online very easily!
I walked in to the store, asked how I could apply. The manager took my to a kiosk they had in the back, where I electronically filled out an application and took a quick assessment. I called a couple days later and was told that I had the position.
One week you’re getting 20 hours next week 30+ hrs. pretty decent hours but if you’re new they always schedule you on saturday’s to close. if you are young and want to enjoy your weekends walgreens is not for you!
Be honest, humble, and interested. Just as with any other interview, you should know what the company is about, what is expected for the position you are applying for, and you should show interest. Ask questions when they ask at the end.
5 is the correct answer, it does renew every January. No sick time given, you would have to use your PTO time if you have any. This company is absolutely ridiculous to work for.
