Yes Walgreen's pay overtime for 40 hours.
Yes I do. From 10 to 8am. Had to think if this was just something my Walgreens was doing or if it was all over... NOW I SEE..ITS ALL OVER.
Yes, they pay overtime after 40 hours
Some stores are open 24 hours. Some weeks you will be luck if you get two days off in a row. There is no such thing as overtime with Walgreen's. They will send you home once you hit 40 hours.
There is no such thing as overtime at walgreens.
We did get paid over time if you did go over 40 hours but the way the company worked they never let you go over time or they would make the schedule in such a way that your schedule would say you have 32 hours for the week but you would end up working 40 plus hours and not getting paid for it.
In my stores there was not night shift. Store opens from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
I was in a beauty care consultant position,if the store was busy I helped as a cashier too.
Yes you get overtime and you get paid a night shift premium
You get paid based on the week you work, if you make over 40 hours on one pay period you get overtime. However, if you work, lets say, sunday to sunday, where the schedule starts on a wednesday, you worked three days in the first schedule and then five days on the next schedule. Usually when they do that you won't break 40 hours, it will sum around 37.5 if you did not take too long to clock out. They will try to work you ten days straight and only four days off, though this was not likely for me, some other people continually had that issue at my store.
It depends on the walgreens. If it is a 24 hour store, then there are shifts 10 to 8 and I think Walgreens paid time and a half for a certain period of overnight shifts. And yes you will get paid overtime.
