If you have something in your background check, it goes to HR and it can become pending until whenever they get to it. Store Manager can expedite the process after 10 business days. You could wait a very long time. So if you have a criminal record or if you've been arraigned, it could take a while. Otherwise 3 business days from when it was submitted and 1-2 days for the manager to get the clear. Generally, overall a week.

On a case by case basis, however, you can only be a CSA never anything more. If you apply for another position/advancement, they will go backwards and pick apart your original application and show you the door saying that you misrepresented yourself somehow. How do I know you ask? Was a CSA, put up for promotion, then, after being offered, accepting and being in training for next level, DH, called into office with corporate rep there and shown the door after being told that I was not eligible for promotion due to background and that I should have known this and that I was at fault for being promoted. So go into it knowing that you are a base/grunt worker for them and nothing more. You will receive no advancement opportunities and are not eligible for raises.
