OFFICE MANAGER (Current Employee) – Ann Arbor, MI – February 1, 2018
Walker is a great place to work. Lots of advancement opportunities. They strive to be the best in their industry. The management staff are always eager to listen to their employees and take into account what they have to say.
Super productive and really fun workplace with a nice ping pong table that was a pleasant and soothing green in colour and had nary a stain nor blemish despite the many super productive and really fun hours spent paddling the ball.
Fun place to work with great co-workers. I learned many things including working with many different excel and word documents and Tracking projects and accounts. They offer great insurance and benefits.
Senior CAD Technician (Former Employee) – Boston, MA – December 16, 2013
Walker was a challenging experience for the past 5 years. I learned a lot of new skill especially having to do with parking structures. From the start of a new structure to it's completion, add in addition to restoration of existing.
Talented folks but if not in strutures and highly compensated not the place to be
Marketing (Former Employee) – San Francisco – August 27, 2013
High overhead combined with no input on project budgets makes for no chance at success. Lots of dead wood at the top prevents lower level employees from network development and training. Compensation schedule is meger for the area. high OH for the upper level staff makes lower end staff have to be almost 100 percent billable.
Project Accountant (Former Employee) – 545 Davis Rd, Elgin, IL – February 17, 2012
Nice people to work with, close by. Unfortunately the economic downfall was my downfall and was let go due to budget cuts. However, my direct manager was a wonderful lady and took time to train my on Deltek and the procedures in the company. I took care of the Boston office and enjoyed the staff very much.
