typical day at work
Medical Assistant/Receptionist (Current Employee) –  Michigan City, INApril 7, 2017
My typical day at work is pretty much the same daily. We see at least 10 to 12 patients a day. Every other week I work the front and back. Days I would be at work by myself and have to do both positions which is being a receptionist and medical assistant. What I love about my job is seeing the children especially newborns. Only thing I don't like is when I have to give babies shot and hate to see them cry but overall I love my job as being a medical assistant. Also I love doctor who I work for. His very laid-back but at the same time he expect for you to get your job done. Parents could make your day difficult because a lot of parents want to come the office when their children gets out of school or they want to come in and we don't have anything available.
Pros
Like working with children
Cons
no benefits, lack of hours and lack of pay
