Walmart Personal Shopper Review

Very easy job and decent pay

You didn't really have much work to do and you could chill when there was no work. There was no management if you had early hours so that was pretty nice and after a while, all the orders would be filled so your day would be done pretty much after that. You could also stay longer if you really wanted to. Lowkey regret having to leave.

Pros

hours, pay, management

Cons

none

Stressful but can be fun

I worked at Walmart five years in the online grocery department. It can be extremely stressful, particularly during the holidays and when COVID hit- oh my gosh. The pay is not too bad, but being constantly asked to stay over because they’re behind, and then later being told you have overtime you need to cut stinks. I worked in two different stores, and the management at the first store was AWFUL. I hated that place so much, it was so miserable. The second store, though, was not bad at all. I work in a more professional setting now, and one thing I do miss about Walmart is the diversity and people. I made a lot of friends there and had a great time working there (at the second location). I still find myself missing those goofballs. All in all I give Walmart 3 stars because they pay you decently and it can be fun occasionally. I wouldn’t call this a life long career but definitely good for a starter job or a couple of years to get you by.

TERRIBLE they don’t listen to you , managers are rude, they change hours frequently, and they didn’t know how to speak to their employees. the pay was okay but it was biweekly which sucked

Okay

Depends on what department you work in but it’s simple. Sometimes management sucks some departments you can listen to music mostly if you work overnight
