Slow

Slow moving laid back environment. Helpful coworkers. Many forward thinking initiatives, but things must slowly here because of the sheer size and massive amount of red tape

Ok

management was very clicky and hardly assisted when needed help. They were mostly talking to the side and didnt really ever help, they referred you back to a certain website that more than often never had the answer.

Good but…..

So, I worked for Walmart for a year and a month and a half. I loved my job. I was good at what I did, worked remotely and was able to care for my child while working. Until, they started making rapid changes to “policy” and attendance. It quickly became very unclear as to how attendance worked and I was terminated for a “no call no show” when I was two hours late in due to a power outage and unable to reach anyone. They still hit me with that. Outrageously unfair. Unsure if I would work for this company again due to the lack of empathy and understanding as well as extremely unorganized as far as their policies.

Pros

Work from home

Cons

Occurrences, DA process

Non experienced "managers"

These people have no clue. Hiring kids with no management experience to lead a group of people.. the computer system has constant tech issues which they blame agents for. They accuse all employees instead of questioning what happened and why. One little mistake and they threaten to fire you. No support and constant turn over of employees says it all. Only reason I'm still around is because I have enough experience to be thrown into the job and train myself. I've been a manager of several jobs before this and I've had to make the "managers" here at this company back down from trying to micromanage. Seems like a waste of time. Only benefit is job experience which u can then use to get a higher paying job with a better company.

Pros

Remote, company provided equipment.

Cons

Bad management. Low pay. Accusations. No real training.

Eh at least it’s a job

I worked remotely for Walmart and the pay was not enough to deal with what I was dealing with. My shift was fine, but Walmart is strict on clocking out on time because they do NOT want to have to pay you overtime.

Pros

Great shift, worked remotely, fairly easy job, hard to get fired

Cons

Pay was terrible, lack of support, emotionally drainjng

Decent training and very productive place to work

It’s an okay job for growth. Low pay but you get to work from home. The training is 5 weeks. They help you preform your job but it’s hard to retain the knowledge because they let you leave training without going through all the necessary applications to do your job

Pros

Work from home

Cons

Low pay

It’s far from okay

Definitely seems like there’s room to grow but you will constantly be overlooked for different positions and advancements. It’s really sad that a company that is so large has such little room for real growth
