Current employee and i absolutely hate it this company everyday i go to work I got to walk on eggshells to keep from getting in trouble because of my camera. In one week I watch three drivers quit from one department and that's the roll off. They all said the same thing it's the camera's and too many rules

COMMUNICATE with your people. Have your Route Managers respect the people that are under them instead if undermining them. Protect your people against bullying and sexual harrissment. Do something about it instead of saying you will do something about it.
Stop failing your good employees.

To me it is quite simple, allow employees to do their job and minimize the micro management that frustrates people. Work together as a team and be kind to people and you will have longevity. A happy job with a great pay will keep a long happy employee. At the end of the day, the job is done and we all win. People like to know they are appreciated and want to do their job to the best of their abilities.

I worked in operations at WM for many many years. There is a lot of corporate game playing. Restructuring , layoffs and basically payoffs Severence. I've seen it all, union and non union. The use of the cameras to discipline is absolutely outrageous. They can't keep good employees because of the lack of trust. Picking up trash is not rocket science. They need to hire managers with experience. Why would a 20 year veteran driver listen to some safety guy who went to college but has never driven a trash truck in his life? A lot of loyal veteran employees 20 plus years are done with WM. The division I worked at may never recover. TRENTON NJ

Quit using drive-cam as a gotcha tool. Pay raises, and start treating people correctly. I am a current employee and not once have I ever been told thank you for anything. But they're quick to write you up for every mistake. Management is a joke.
