Up the drivers wages by $9.00 a hour. They deserve 25 bucks a hr. For sure.

There is no work life balance. District manager I had was demeaning and belittled employees. Morning launch is propaganda shoved down your throat. Drive cam is a neutral point if your not cutting corners and have nothing to hide. Could be a great place to work but too many people trying to justify their desk job while complicating a simple job of here is the customer list go pick it up and don’t damage anything.

Quit hiring management off the streets and promote within the company. During my tenure at WM, not one district manager and route manager knew what they were doing. No surprise that our location went downhill quickly, Management was fried every few years, great employees quit, and customers turned to alternate companies for services.

The pay at Waste Management is very poor. They focus too much on metrics and not enough on the person. An exemplary employee that exceeds all goals and metrics only receives a 37 cent pay increase. That is pathetic. Value your employees by paying them what they are worth. Stop shoving metrics down there throats and focus on positive results, then you will retain people.

By paying customer service employees more and cut out the revolving door. Why continue hiring employees at a low pay rate of $14.50 an hour Instead of paying atleast $17.50 to start. I believe better pay will prevent a revolving door at WM. There is alot of credit card fraud happening in the world. At WM we process credit card payments on the daily basis. In order to prevent this type of crime WM needs to pay more by the hour and become more familar with their existing employees. This will prevent credit card fraud and prevent a downfall for WM.
