What would you suggest WATCO COMPANIES management do to prevent others from leaving?
Do away with discrimination and bias on the part of local management. Be more realistic on your wage rate increases. At least cover the yearly cost of living increase. Make yearly bonus percentages even across the board for each sight. Appreciate that 30 years of railroad experience adds value to an employee and that a three year railroad wonder in management is replaceable
Watco in Baton Rouge is a joke. The general manager talks about rules Let’s you break them until something happens. Them uses that against you in an investigation and fires you. CEO does nothing about. They use intimidation on employees. I have seen the General Manager have women in the office on weekends. They do not care about employee
Ask if you refuse multiple job offers to stay with the company for 25 plus years is a good severence package going to be given if the plant closes .Because $110 a year for each year worked is an insult ..If a severance package isn't included. Go elsewhere !
How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at WATCO COMPANIES? What are the steps along the way?
I moved across the country, so we planned on 3 weeks. However, it could of been done in a week. It depends if you are certified or not.
