The managers play favorites and promises raises under the table. I was told to 'act sad' that I didn't get the job but they were going to give me the next promotion, which of course didn't happen.

Treat people like human beings. We are just seen as circus animals who are to shut up and perform. Don’t ever show any sign of emotion if you’re not 100% happy all the time. You are to act like Wayfair can do no wrong and that you can never question anything they do.

Make sure you are hiring the right candidates either temporary, part-time, or full-time. When you post a job online, and close it out the next day tells me a lot about the company. I know you have to post jobs even if you are self promoting from within, but find the one that has what it takes to be in that certain position.

Once you see the job posted on Indeed or Jobvite you apply. From there keep an eye out for emails giving you the next steps- assessment, speed test (make sure you have right upload/download speed to work from home) then usually a recruiter will reach out via email or phone to go over the position. If you are a good fit for the role, you will move to the 2nd interview which is online via Google hangout.
