This position as Grant and Contract Officer III allowed me to review grant proposal accuracy, budget within sponsor guidelines and sign off as representative of WSU. Enjoyed training departmental administration on proposal preparation and budgets. The hardest part of this job was the stress of proposal deadlines.
ProsOpportunity to advance in career, ability to grow professionally and learn.
ConsSalaries were a little low in the early 2000s, but benefits good.
