Machine operator (Former Employee) – Reno, PA – February 19, 2019
You come in, get told what to do, you go to your assigned work center, do your job, go home at the end of the day. Learned alot of new machines and standards. The people are nice. Management lacks some qualities they need to work on such as organization and basic management skills. the hardest part was trying to deal with foreign truck drivers and trying to understand them. The Most enjoyable part was learning new machines.
I wish nobody had to go through the ignorance but you will
Slitter (Former Employee) – Oil City, PA – May 4, 2019
Dirty, majority of employees will be on facebook or sms than pick up a broom or half the time pay attention to their jobs. Dont get HURT!! They will breathe down your neck until you slip up, unless your vital to the everyday then your excused. Their policy is to drug test everyone who is in an accident that results in care well 4 months ago a guy is still going every other week for theoropy on his fingure bc he lost it but the saftey REP decided to not drug test him at workers care bc he didnt want to record the incident. By the way the only person that can change the policy is the president. Dont be friends or trust a soul. Also I was a part of the highest profit year ever and my first quarter bonus was 800 when profit was average within a year i got 200. GREEDY. Not one happy soul in the place but the people the workers make wealthy. You will get walked on anf bullied at webco. By everyone espeacially the higher ups. They dont stick to their own policy or saftey rules they sign or created. Well 99% percent anyway. GOODLUCK! Not that itll help you either way
Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) – Reno, PA – April 25, 2019
Very dirty place to work Long hours with low pay for the work required Management is poor and they don’t seam to care about the employees unless your a personal friend of theirs You also have to read book on your own time that you are given test on afterwards at work
Mechanical Engineering Intern (Former Employee) – Tulsa, OK – January 21, 2019
My experience working at Webco Industries was very good. I was given the opportunity to work on a project without being micro-managed. The bosses were pleasant to be around and I was rarely asked to work after 5:00 PM and never asked to work on weekends or holidays.
Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Former Employee) – Mannford, OK – October 13, 2018
learned alot, culture driven work place. was always moving people around and trying to find there strengths. When I was working there you work up to 6 days. The bonuses there where very good and they apriciated what each person did. and they have meeting to let you know how each department did.Learned about stronge culture in the work place and teams who group together and acomplish a goal better them one's self. Not alot of room for error, but there is a learing curve.over all it is a good place to work, if you can did with dust in the shop
good insurance extra's, pay
stuck there for 12 hrs and can't go out for lunch, about every 4 years it's get slow
Very unprofessional when it comes to middle managment to upper managment
Finish floor floater (Former Employee) – Sand Springs, OK – October 8, 2018
Be prepared for long hours. 5 to 6 days or nights a week. Managment doesnt care about home work life balance. If you dont know someone high up be prepared to be stuck at the bottom for a long time. Also you cap out at 20 dollars if you work nights. Points system. Way to many politics at this place. Your ideas dont mean anything to managment. If they want you gone you might as well look for another job cause its not if its when they will can you.
They dont care about their employees at all. They just want them to bust their butt to make them money with nothing in return. The management is the worst in the world. They lie to their customers and to the employees. The people in Oklahoma that run the one in orange are so greedy it's all about them. They are just the worst people to work for.
SBM (Current Employee) – Sand Springs, OK – June 18, 2018
Great work environment for those who seek to better themselves and hardworking.. if you don’t like your position just wait the 90 days to find something you like, if your just a mediocre and dependable worker they will find a place for you!! I put down a desired salary they went way above that when hiring me..
Open door policies, advancements, and better than a average work environment.
End Welder/Water Treatment Technician (Former Employee) – Sand Springs, OK – May 22, 2018
• FCAW welding in heat exchanger tube manufacturing • Managed the company’s waste water treatment system and heat exchanger tube picking process • Maintained inventory and transport process systems through use of company’s data logs to track all materials
Quality Control Inspector (Former Employee) – Sand Springs, OK – May 9, 2018
I was employed at Webco for nearly 10 years. I would still be there had a certain manager not been a habitual liar. If you were not one of the good ol boys or somebody’s family member which there is a lot of, you are not going to climb that ladder. Pay was good, 12 hour shifts were easy for me.
