My co-workers were nice and we often helped each other with difficult problems.
The billing office was often very busy; during quarterly billing reporting periods; my co-workers and myself were generally stressful then; but generally the work was deliberate, methodical and followed a definite set of rules. When there were conflicts; we relied on one another's expertise and experience with differing situations.
My manager was - more... nice; but she was also exacting and before reports were due; she would call you in to see where/how your accounts were being completed, and what process(es) you were employing to alleviate any problems. - less
