My experience with Wellpath has been nothing short of exceptional. Never could I have imagined that I would be so fortunate to have a job this rewarding. The environment is respectful, supportive, and encouraging. Every team member I work with strives to be their best in providing exceptional care to our patients. Patient’s lives are forever changed because of their experience in our program. I have been in healthcare for over twenty years, and I have never had the opportunity to work with such remarkable providers in an environment that made me excited to come to work until I joined the team at Wellpath. Thank you to our Leadership Team, who have all made this a wonderful place to work!

This company is horrible. They will tell you anything to get you through the door. Or, maybe correctional nursing is not my “thing.” they are not at all professional.

Chaotic and a dumpster fire

Upper Management has no clue what’s happening at local sites. Constantly losing staff, doctors and contracts. Poorly Managed. We were contract workers and the jail staff were great it was just constant conflicts.

Barely trained, no support from management. Workload is a lot. Floor nurses are cool. Pay is subpar. Be prepared to stop a med pass to do assessments.

Run from management! They will beg you to work overtime and if you don’t you become a target. HR is a joke and always sides with management. NP is incompetent. Protect your license. Low morale and toxic work environment.

DON very hostile, not professional at all, running people off, very negative about everything, no team leader material at all.

Working as nurse assistant, doing vitals, EKGs , pulling blood . Job was not hard to do but the DON made it difficult, very hostile and very negative. No room to praise for a hard work. Always having something to catch on. Also very disrespectful to inmates and new hires. Some coworkers opinionated as well and not easy to deal with. Not a healthy place to work at.

Toxic employer. They work they staff almost to death. The ones who works double to cover others who don't work but should. The bosses don't care if you need help even if you ask.

Working with inmates was great. Custody staff very helpful Wellpath sabotaged, undermines and makes false promises. Pay I'd only advantage but if you are ethical and value your license, run!

The job itself was great ! Good benefits and pay. Management not so much, did not seem to know what they were doing. Staffing was terrible always short , favoritism and very unorganized, kind of all over the place.

Workplace culture ultimately starts with management, and this culture is straight trash. Be prepared to fight for reimbursement for sick and vacation days, as well as rightful rates of pay. Management will lie right to your face, in front of witnesses, without hesitation. You’ve been warned.

Horrible Company to work for

Poor company

Very poor training and poor work load. I had high hopes going into the job with flexible hours. Then after a year I was told I needed a schedule and could no longer do flexible hours even though it was a part time job. The company is a mess and no one really knows what is going on. I wish I could say better things.
