i would say everything is great with the company, it is hard to grow though. Even if you're qualified for a position and you do great at your branch, it's about supply and demand. If there is a position open they'll need to fill it.

Poor dept. management and not a friendly group
I only lasted 4 months before I couldn't take it anymore.Manager insensitive.Manager overly concerned about sticking to procedures to an exacting degree.Thinking out of the box not allowed. Procedures have multiple people re-working a task that could be done by one.All mistakes are brought to your attention immediately, severely consistently. Be prepared to be micromanaged.Enforcement of procedures is everything, however providing value to customers is not given much attention.Had to take a leave for a COVID type illness. Working w/HR is something I wouldn't wish on anyone and manager provided me no support during that time. Long ultra-frustrating experience that only gaw a huge among of worry and stress which made my illness worse. Manager's only concern was how my absence might hurt my job performance.

Overall okay
I worked for Wells Fargo for about 4 years and I loved it. I wasn’t a fan of my service manager but overall I enjoyed the job. Don’t get caught up in office politics

Outstanding company to work for
I began my career as a teller. I held many positions such as a banker, assistant branch manager and retired from the company as a Branch Manager. Awesome company to work for.

Interview Questions

I was very unhappy with my interview process. The initial phone screening and face-to-face interview which took about a week to get went well but I got a call a couple hours later that made me unhappy. I applied for a full time teller position and they offered me a part time position. HUGE DIFFERENCE. I was told my answers were very impressive but yet, another person was offered my position, but they were “very short handed” but were only willing to offer me PART TIME. Ridiculous.
