Wells Fargo started out as a good place to work but it became apparent that the company cares only about its bottom line, not about its employees and certainly not about its customers. If you want to know what Wells Fargo is like, just google search Wells Fargo scandals. That should tell you everything.

Great company to work with, but management was bad. Once people start getting bigger posistions , they will treat you like they never meet you, but regarding that, everything else is a good environment, fast paced.

Good pay, Bad schedules. The call center schedules are not the best but the pay is good. If you are able to withstand a call center environment this job would be a god fit.

Phone Banker II (Former Employee) –  Columbia, SCNovember 4, 2018
Work environment was stressful with back to back calls and constantly making sales pitches to the customers. There is a game room that you can enjoy on your breaks and a cafeteria so that you don't have to leave for lunch.

at times it was loud depending on who was in my cubicle working with me. sometimes up to 4 per cubicle. my boss was great she let us play friendly competitive games with eachother to keep us all motivated and keep us pushing for sales to reach goal. i left before they changed a lot of the ways they operate. ive heard from old co-workers who still work there that it has become a lot better place to work.
Pros
prizes, games, dicounts at vendors
Cons
pushy sales, long calls, loud co-workers.

If you are the type of person who is good at educating others, and solving service complaints (dealing with horrible attitudes), then you can make good money with this company and have a successful career

Productive place to work and also a great place to grow
Interim Phone Banker 3 (Former Employee) –  Birmingham, ALOctober 26, 2018
A typical word day at Wells Fargo for the most part was easy going. Each day you would learn something new whether it was about yourself, your customer service skills, or about the company. Management was very helpful by going over improvement opportunities that could help you grow within the company.

Level II Phone Banker (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TXOctober 24, 2018
There was never a dull moment, on a typical day I loved the fact of speaking with people from all over the US. I leaned many things about how to identify the situation and the steps needed in such situations. the workplace culture it was very diverse and fun to spend the day to day part of work; also loved the involvement with the community. The hardest part of the job was to leave, the most enjoyable part was competing with the other groups on how much we can donate and the volunteer days; giving back to the community. I know that Wells Fargo has been under a lot of public and legal problems; but as far as the agents and managers it was one of the best experiences in my life.

benefi
