Management is horrific. No encouragement for the employee especially during these trying times. Training is sink or swim style. Unrealistic expectations. No wonder why the turnover rate is increasing!! If you have no life and your a robot this is the place for you!
healthcare, management, workplace culture, pay, etc
● Work-life balanceNa● Pay & benefitsNa● Job security and advancementNa● CultureNa● OverallDon’t believe the conversations around your salary or even your offer letter. Their senior living companies do not pay you. Besides that it was a horrible atmosphere and very unprofessional RDO. Many people heading to the EEOC. My experience was really highlighted by those two things .
Pathetic, high turnover in the the 1 yr exactly that I stayed. Manager has no clue what a UPS system is does or if we have one.
Very sad that people with no skill set are put in place to manage others. I did my job well, someone who has no experience as a real estate so called manager whom the client does not care for and her secretary even more so! How or why would you try to apply for a position that required 8 yrs experience and be angry that they chose some one with 19 yrs experience.

Petty office politics made moral unbearable. You have to be in the good graces of the managers or your days are numbered. They take credit for your work and have no problem stabbing you in the back. HR is worthless. Their focus is wholly on protecting the company. Employees are disregarded and left to fend for them. Upper management looks the other way.
I worked for this company for several years. It was rather small, and grew substantially within a short period of time, and developed into what is now known as Welltower Inc. It went through many members on the asset side; asset had no idea how operation's ran.The regional manager at the time was essentially useless, and if she did not have an answer it went into the abyss. The only room for growth potential on a higher level is relocation. Great company to work for with benefits, just the wrong people wearing the suits.
A typical day is fast paced and constant movement. The staff is always friendly and appreciative. The most enjoyable part of the job is the daily interaction with the staff.

Great group of professionals, I learned so much over my 16 years with Welltower, both professionally and personally. I loved the travel and the group meetings and gatherings and at the same time loved working independently with my team, only reaching out for assistance on major issues.
They've scaled MOB operations down quite a bit and atmosphere is very stressed. The MOB division used to feel like a family when previous management was in place. VP is retiring, changes continue to happen, not for the better. Expect to be stressed and overworked with little information.
Senior management is very inexperienced and lacks emotional intelligence coupled with inappropriate friendships amoungst senior leadership that are clickish, bullies, petty and emotionally beat down reporting staff. Overall team environment is unhealthy, untrusting of upper management and of each other due to senior management pitting each against the other. Overall experience for Atlanta region was the worst working experience and toxic environment known. This company will never hold real talent with the current leadership in place. They lie to their benefit, bully, manipulate and are not nice people. Once top corporate leaders recognize this and replace this group, Welltower would be a phenomenal team with overall great culture.
Overall great company culture, good pay but not worth it.
Toxic and poor environment.
Overall, company has a great mission and decent pay and a typical day includes heavy workload. Company has multiple locations where the work morale may be more positive. Could be a great place to work if company provided better training for managers.
No consistency across the board
Welltower wants every employee to exceed. They go above and beyond for their employees. Great management and culture. Evaluations not only encourage, but guide everyone to achieve their career goals.
