Decent First Job
Crew Member/Crew Leader (Current Employee) - Ashburn, VA - April 8, 2019
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI had days where I felt I was being picked on. Management was ok at first but new management has come in and pushed everyone out. It was a great first job out of high school but you cannot make a living off of what they pay. If you're a certain race, you are likely to not become management worthy.
Pros
employees
Cons
wages, upper management

el ambiente de trabajo es divertido te ríes en la mayor parte de el tiempo y creas confianza con tus gerentes e jefe al igual que con tus compañeros.
Wendy's Crew Member (Former Employee) - Trujillo Alto - November 27, 2023

Wendy's insights
What people like
- Feeling of personal appreciation
- Ability to learn new things
- Ability to meet personal goals
Areas for improvement
- Overall satisfaction
- Sense of belonging
- Fair pay for job
It's a fine job for the pay. The roughest part is some employees may not do their job leaving more work for others.
Crew Member (Former Employee) - Sayre, PA - November 27, 2023
Typical work day could be busy. I've learned I can make a difference for customers with a positive attitude. Lower Management can be toxic for the workplace. Depending on the shift the crew can be great to work with. Hardest part of the job can be the high demand of work at times or bad leadership. The most enjoyable part is having a good crew to work with and being able to make a customer's day better.
Pros
Good pay, they give reasonable chances.
Cons
Lack of hours, lower Management could be toxic.

Even though I worked there as a temp, it felt like I had been working a year
Crew Member (Former Employee) - North Pole, AK - November 27, 2023
The managers were either very respectful and supportive or absolutely uninterested in actually working, all in all it was lackluster and unbearably insufferable working with some of the awful managers

Poor working
Cashier (Former Employee) - Mayfield Heights, OH - November 27, 2023
Management was to strict and there was no real compensation . As a teenager they want you to work late in to the evenings even though you have to get up for school the next day.

Productive and fun
Fry Cook/Cashier (Former Employee) - Alaska - November 27, 2023
Working at Wendy's is a solid experience. The fast-paced environment keeps you on your toes, and the team camaraderie is a definite plus. The job teaches valuable skills in customer service and multitasking. Plus, who can resist the temptation of those delicious fries during break?

Crew Member (Former Employee) - Advance, NC - November 27, 2023
It was a good job at the time for being young . However not enough money or good to actually live off of given how much it cost to live especially comfortable

Fast food clean work environment and fun
Cashier/Customer Service (Former Employee) - New Boston, TX - November 26, 2023
I got to work at 7 and I Start working on stocking and making sure that I have everything I need to get my customers the best service I have. I learned how to make a good burger and potatoes rather than fries. I had a great manager and my work was very nice to work and you are not in a small area, the hardest part about the job was new items that were being sold. The most enjoyable part was the customers loved to have their order made right.
Pros
Coupons, military discounts, and the 3 for 3 dral
Cons
Having to clean the front, and customer's come to order, and you will have to stop cleaning, and get them to order .lunch is the slowest

Shift Supervisor (Current Employee) - Havelock, NC - November 25, 2023
It is an okay job to work. Schedules are late but always get days off you request. Depends on the shift supervisor can be good or bad shift. General manager is usually understanding

Loved working there
Cashier/Customer Service (Former Employee) - Clawson, MI - November 25, 2023
Great team- we always beat the clock! There was always something to do, but we all made it fun. It was greasy to be part of a clean store, where the product was consistently excellent.

Boring and stressful work place
Manager (Former Employee) - Maryville, TN - November 25, 2023
A typical work day was very stressful but due able depending on the crew and managers. I learned that you can’t trust your fellow workers even if they say you can. Management sucks and they only care about themselves and how they’re feeling. Hardest part of the job was not flipping out on people because of how dumb they wanted to be and how management was stupid. The most enjoyable part of my job was when I clocked out and was able to go home.
Pros
Free food
Cons
Short breaks, health care, management, no trust, no fun

Fast Paced
Cashier (Former Employee) - Allentown, PA - November 25, 2023
Wendy's work environment: Fast-paced and energetic. Team camaraderie is strong, but pressure during peak hours. Management support varies. Overall, a dynamic place to work.

Cr ap sh it fu cking terrible
Crew Member (Former Employee) - Wenatchee, WA - November 24, 2023
Not recommend in Wenatchee it's a complete mess they teach you nothing and expect you to know everything 0/10 would recommend burning it down. Or have corporate decide to close the business completely but your probably too fat to stop eating fast food, huh?
Pros
Free lunch, isn't worth it.
Cons
Don't report offenses by spicific people's because they are because they are related to the manager.

Stressful
Crew Member (Former Employee) - Bond road - November 24, 2023
Shift were usually stressful. Some coworkers were not helpful and work environment wasn’t great. You would have to work various positions. Free food though and morning shifts were easy.

Wendy’s is very good for beginners
Cashier/ burger chef (Former Employee) - Al ghurair - November 24, 2023
Very busy yet easy because the staffs are supportive. I learnt a lot from being a good and fast cashiering to a very fast burger chef. Management is good. Workplace culture is ok, everyone respect everyone culture. Hardest part of the job is when you are leaving the company. Enjoyable part is when you win a task

The work is easy but management is pretty toxic
Crew Member (Current Employee) - Emporia, KS - November 24, 2023
Honestly the best thing I can say about the job is that what you do is pretty easy however leader ship is pretty toxic I have literally had a day where I did collecting coordinating I am working the fire during a rush asked to pairing up the bacon and when I did not have time for a asked for assistance for someone else to paint it up if they can get to it before me and I got yelled at for that also with scheduling I am supposed to be working during the day That’s what I applied for instead they made me a closer which is not suitable for my needs and against what I applied for I am also not getting the hours I was promised nor did I get the position I applied for I got a crewmember position when I applied for Shift lead position they do not listen to their employees as far as what they need for a schedule they do not care what you got going on they will call you in whenever they feel like they want you to work and then they will schedule you for less hours than was possible to live on hence why I am looking for a new job as we speak
Pros
How far from your meals.
Cons
Management does not respect the employees.
