Within a week. You have to have your clearances and physical before you can start. They pay for your physical at med Express which is completed in the first 3 days after being hired. It takes about 10 days to get your clearances. There are a couple paid trainings that you have 90 days to complete online but you can still work. You have 30 days to complete agency orientation. You can still work. Within the first 6 months you have to complete 39 hours of paid training such as CPR, CPI and ABA classes.

I had current clearances and it took nearly two months to start working. I have no idea what the issue was, but I had to make many phone calls along the way. Many of these phone calls were never returned.

A few weeks. Depends on clearances if you’re hired for a direct position. Especially FBI clearance. PA takes a while now.

It took two months to get hired. The interview was very disorganized and management was not prepared. When I arrived for my interview, the person I was supposed to meet with was still out to lunch. My interview started two hours late and I was not pleased at all.
