I earned PTO every two weeks. I’m happy with it.

Overwhelming and stressful! There is no support when you need it. The mission here is to make units, productivity and money!

You are wasting your valuable time and energy on an agency that will never respect or value you.

Within a week. You have to have your clearances and physical before you can start. They pay for your physical at med Express which is completed in the first 3 days after being hired. It takes about 10 days to get your clearances. There are a couple paid trainings that you have 90 days to complete online but you can still work. You have 30 days to complete agency orientation. You can still work. Within the first 6 months you have to complete 39 hours of paid training such as CPR, CPI and ABA classes.

Answered

PTO is difficult to utilize and must be approved 2 weeks in advance and is often denied, in Family Based if your revenue/productivity is down you are flat out denied PTO. Unreasonable demands that make it hard to achieve a life/work balance. Emotional and physical burnout is common. PTO for sick time is also frowned upon.
