Untrustworthy staff but updated and clean building
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) - West Bloomfield Township, MI - July 14, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedMean girl gossipy environment. Don’t trust a lot of them, if you work here keep your circle very small. Most of the patients in the back are okay, can be very combative, DON doesn’t allow certain psych meds so take that into consideration. Rehab is not too bad just be friendly because patients will quickly kick you out and tell on you.
Pros
Concession food area, clean, mostly organized
Cons
Staff can be rude and very untrustworthy

Rude management and overworked
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) - Bloomfield Hills, MI - August 23, 2022
Management is very rude, not many friendly staff, and they overwork you whenever they have a chance. The only good part is the hours you can pick up and the raise they give you after you pick up a shift.

Patients are free of pressure/bed sores, clean facility no urine or stool smell throughout facility, mostly full staffed.
LPN Charge Nurse (Former Employee) - West Bloomfield, MI - May 28, 2022
Overall WBHRC is a clean facility, mostly staffed and PT and OT is great! Management is very clicky so only (the brown nosers) get the “perks”. Terrible
Pros
Fairly maintained facility
Cons
Poor management team

Loved working here!
Clinical Dietitian (Former Employee) - West Bloomfield Township, MI - May 26, 2022
This facility is well organized and is a great place to work! Any discipline can use the texting through the chart to communicate with the rest of the interdisciplinary team, which saves a lot of time. This is a supportive culture that works together as a team!

I've been with the company 3 years and like the facility. If you have a problem the managers and/or Administrator listen and will work with you. Overall it's a nice place to work.
Pros
Staff get free lunches and BBQ's throughout the year.

Toxic and bad environment, Incapable management, unprofessional work environment
Food Service Worker (Former Employee) - West Bloomfield Township, MI - June 19, 2021
I would not recommend working here. Always short-staffed. You will end up having to be on your feet all day doing someone’s else’s job almost everyday. Outdated schedule system, constant mistakes in the work schedule. Non flexible work schedule. Short breaks. Excessive amount of work done is not your job. Unprofessional and incapable management. Management is useless and never provide any help to you when needed.
Pros
None
Cons
Short breaks, short staffed everyday, toxic environment.

Very sad and confined workspace with the same repetitive routines.
Food Service Worker (Former Employee) - West Bloomfield Township, MI - June 19, 2021
Do not recommend working here. Staff is always short, and you are forced to perform 2x the duties you would need to perform if they were not short staffed. Very toxic work environment. Co workers and management is very bad, schedule is constantly messed up and full of errors.
Pros
Lots of time between food line and dish room
Cons
Short breaks, toxic environment, incapable management.
